Dolphins leap gracefully above ocean waves, swim alongside boats, and play together in the sparkling blue sea. Their smooth bodies are usually shades of gray, with lighter gray or white bellies, while some species have beautiful pink or darker markings. When coloring, use soft grays and silvery blues for realistic dolphins, turquoise and deep blue for the ocean, and bright colors for coral reefs, tropical fish, and underwater scenery.
